Building a Competitive Resume

Every job application begins with a properly written resume. You may be qualified for the job but if it doesn't stand out, you may lose your edge from the other applicants. Take the time to review it and get a second opinion. Remember the following when writing your resume.

1. A resume should be written purposefully. It should show what you could do and how you standout from other applicants.
2. Keep it short and simple. Try not to overwhelm your prospective employer with information that are not relevant to your application.
3. Don't lie in your resume.
